When July 2026 RES results may be released

How the result is communicated and what it will show

NTUC LearningHub sends RES examination results by email. The notification records a Pass or Fail result for each paper and an overall Pass or Fail result. Numerical scores are not provided.

While waiting for the notification:

• Check the email inbox used for the examination application.

• Check the spam or junk folder in case the notification was filtered.

• Do not treat the end of the estimated 16 to 30 August range as a guaranteed deadline.

If no notification can be found after the relevant results period, direct the examination enquiry to NTUC LearningHub, CEA's appointed examination administrator. CEA states that examination enquiries are generally answered within five working days, although complex enquiries or periods of high enquiry volume may take longer.

What to do while waiting without overreacting

A practical waiting-period plan can be kept deliberately light:

1. Write a short private reflection on the areas that felt uncertain. Focus on broad topics or question-reading difficulties rather than reconstructing or publishing recalled examination questions.

2. Use occasional targeted practice to retain knowledge and revisit weaker areas. Continued practice does not indicate whether the pending result will be a pass or fail.

3. Locate the date on your Certificate of RES Course Completion. Examination eligibility lasts for two years from the individual course-completion date, with no extension after expiry.

4. Organise your course-completion certificate, examination records and relevant correspondence so that you can respond to the result without searching for documents later.

Current planning information: The next published RES examination after July 2026 is scheduled for 31 October 2026 for Paper 1 and 1 November 2026 for Paper 2. The published milestones include course completion by 16 September, Stage 1 indication of interest on 17 September from 9am to 12 noon, and Stage 2 registration and payment from 1 to 4 October. How the official results-review process works

2. The application must be submitted through the NTUC LearningHub online portal within five working days after the results are released. Use the closing date stated in the result notification.

3. The current fee is $87.20 including GST per application. The fee is non-refundable and should be checked again immediately before applying.

4. The review covers the marking of the answer script and a re-check of the awarded marks.

5. Candidates are not given their answer scripts, answer sheets or numerical scores.

6. The outcome is normally communicated in writing about 14 working days after the appeal closing date. More time may be required if the volume of applications is high.

How to decide whether a review is relevant

Before applying, check each of the following:

• At least one paper must be recorded as failed.

• The five-working-day submission window must still be open.

• You must be comfortable paying the non-refundable fee.

• You should understand that the process checks marking and awarded marks. It does not provide scripts, answers, examiner comments or numerical scores.

• Do not assume that feeling confident after the examination means the result is likely to change.

• Prepare for the relevant retake pathway at the same time rather than treating the review as a replacement for planning.
