Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

Please read these Terms carefully before using ConfirmPass. By creating an account, accessing the free trial, or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who we are

ConfirmPass ("ConfirmPass", "we", "us", "our") is operated by SurePass Education Pte Ltd, a company registered in Singapore. The service is available at confirmpass.sg.

2. What ConfirmPass is

ConfirmPass is an online study and practice tool for candidates preparing for the Real Estate Salesperson (RES) examination. It provides practice questions, case studies, explanations, and progress analytics.

Our questions, case studies, and explanations are written by us, based on the CEA syllabus structure. They are not taken or reproduced from any past or actual CEA examination paper. The people, stories, and situations in our questions and case studies are fictitious, and any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or to actual events, is coincidental.

ConfirmPass is an independent study aid. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA), any approved RES course provider, or any government body. Use of ConfirmPass is not a substitute for an approved RES course, and we are not a course provider.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Singapore law to use ConfirmPass. By using the service you confirm that you meet these requirements.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You may sign in using email or a supported third-party login (such as Google, Microsoft, or Facebook). Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which are outside our control.

Each account is for a single person and is non-transferable. You may not share, sell, transfer, or allow anyone else to use your account. Any attempt to do so may result in termination of your account without prior notice. You may be responsible for losses caused by unauthorised use of your account.

Tell us promptly at team@confirmpass.sg if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

5. Free trial

We may offer free trial access, for example a limited set of practice questions, with or without an account. The scope of the trial may change at any time. Trial access is provided as is, for evaluation, and carries no payment obligation.

6. Paid access, pricing, and payment

Paid plans give you access to specific content, such as a particular paper or question bank, for the duration or scope stated at the time of purchase. The features, price, and duration of each plan are shown on the pricing page before you pay.

Purchases are one-time payments for the access you select. We do not automatically renew or re-bill you, so there is no subscription to cancel.

Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details. By purchasing, you also agree to Stripe's terms where they apply.

Prices are in Singapore Dollars and, unless stated otherwise, are inclusive of any applicable taxes. We may change prices from time to time, but changes do not affect access you have already paid for.

We may offer promotional codes or discounts. These are subject to any stated conditions and limits, may be withdrawn at any time, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may not be combined unless we say so.

7. Refunds

Purchases are for digital content you can access immediately, so we ask you to use the free trial to decide whether ConfirmPass is right for you before you buy.

If you are not satisfied with a purchase, you may ask us for a refund and we will consider it in good faith. Refunds are decided case by case, at our reasonable discretion. We will normally agree to a refund where all of the following apply:

  • you request it within 7 days of purchase;
  • you have used only a small part of the content you bought, as a guide fewer than 20 paid questions or less than 10% of the purchased question bank, whichever is reached first; and
  • the request is made in good faith.

We may decline a refund where you have already worked through a substantial part of the content, where the request comes well after purchase, or where we reasonably believe it is being made to obtain free use of the question bank rather than because the product was unsuitable.

This does not affect your rights under Singapore consumer protection law. If content you paid for is faulty or not as described, contact us at team@confirmpass.sg and we will put it right, which may mean a correction, replacement, or refund as appropriate.

To request a refund, email team@confirmpass.sg from the address linked to your account, with your order details and reason.

8. Content accuracy and no guarantee of results

We work to keep our questions and explanations accurate and aligned to the RES syllabus, and we correct errors when they are reported. Even so, ConfirmPass is provided for study purposes only and may contain mistakes, outdated references, or simplifications.

You should not rely on ConfirmPass as a definitive statement of law, regulation, or examinable content. Always verify important points against official and current sources, including the Estate Agents Act and related regulations, CEA guidance, IRAS material on duties and taxes, and your approved course materials.

We do not guarantee that using ConfirmPass will result in passing the RES examination or any particular score. Your results depend on many factors outside our control.

If you spot an error, please tell us at team@confirmpass.sg so we can review and correct it.

9. Testimonials and reviews

If you submit a testimonial or review to us, you agree that we may use, publish, and display it for marketing and promotional purposes, including on the Website. We may edit it for length, clarity, grammar, or spelling, without changing its substance. We may also choose not to publish it, and we may start, pause, or end any testimonial or review programme at any time. Do not submit a testimonial unless you are happy for us to use it in this way.

10. Intellectual property

All content on ConfirmPass, including questions, case studies, explanations, text, design, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the content for your own exam preparation while your access is valid, provided you keep any copyright or proprietary notices intact.

You may not copy, record, screenshot for redistribution, scrape, download in bulk, republish, share, sell, or otherwise make our content available to others, whether free or paid. This includes sharing content in chat groups or with other candidates.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • access or try to access any part of the service you are not entitled to;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the service;
  • use bots, scrapers, or automated means to extract content;
  • attempt to probe, scan, or test the security of the service without our written permission;
  • use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach this section.

12. Third-party services

ConfirmPass relies on third-party services to operate, including hosting, payment processing, authentication, and analytics. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or terms of these providers, and their availability may affect the service.

13. Service availability and changes

We aim to keep ConfirmPass available and working well, but we provide it on an "as available" basis. We may update, change, suspend, or withdraw features, content, or the whole service, including for maintenance, and we may do so without notice. We are not liable for any unavailability or change to the service.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law:

  • ConfirmPass is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or of accuracy.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, opportunity, data, or examination outcomes, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Singapore law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

15. Termination

You may stop using ConfirmPass and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably need to protect the service or other users. If we terminate your paid access without cause, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid fee on a fair basis.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date shows when. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as a notice on the site or by email. Continuing to use ConfirmPass after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute connected to these Terms or the service.

18. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to team@confirmpass.sg.
